Ranging from the creation of recipes using different products from the Bannisters range for PR and online marketing, to the showcasing of the range in menus across a variety of settings.

I was first introduced to Steph about 10 years ago by my Thomas Danby College baking lecturer who began teaching me baking nearly 40 years ago. He told me about this Head Chef and lecturer who was going places and I really needed to meet - he was right!

Steph turned up like a fire-cracker, full of enthusiasm and energy as well as loads of great ideas. I quickly learned the skill of answering ‘Yes Chef!’ Since that time a number of our team members and I have worked alongside Steph developing new ideas, recipes and food concepts – she even got me up on stage at the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival to demonstrate Yorkshire curd tart making with a rhubarb twist.

Steph helped us out on open days and cooking demonstrations when we relaunched our Helmsley Delicatessen and Butchers. Cooking and tasting Yorkshire produce whilst entertaining the challenging local home bakers and cooks. She attracts a great crowd of food enthusiasts and always manages to win them over.

Working with Steph we have developed lots of other great products including vegan sausage rolls, take away salad pots, puddings to go, Strawberry fields, Zesty Lemon Cheesecake, sandwiches with various fillings, cheese straws, buffet platters and ready meals for Thomas the Bakers of Helmsley. This is just a small selection of the range Steph has introduced us to, we hope to work together for many years to come.
